Giftcraft is a B2B business specializing in home décor and gifting products across North America. I was first hired as Lead Digital Developer in December 2020 and near the end of 2023, I was promoted to Director of Digital Marketing and Creative. With one of my first assignments being the migration of our old platforms to a new CRM and PIM, along with a complete rebuild and rebranding of our online presence.

Among my first considerations was modernizing the site and making us stand out from our competitors. I provided direction for more robust and vibrant visuals to separate us from the common styles seen in the industry. Along with a more customer focused approach that highlighted our expertise and provided additional value beyond just our products. I also streamlined our asset creation by standardizing product shot dimensions and backgrounds to maximize consistency and ease of transfer across platforms, like Amazon and Faire, while maintaining a high end appearance and standard. Additionally, by developing the front-end code personally, I was able to break out of the typical design constraints seen by our competitors using similar platforms and create a unique experience for users.

These efforts, and a refined marketing strategy, produced a 30% increase in revenue generated by the site in a single year.
